Some of the worst ski equipment I have ever rented. Someone who has been renting all over Europe for over 20 years, this was the worst condition equipment I have ever rented. The boots were about 3 seasons old and looked like they had been thrown off a cliff. This was for all 6 of the group. The skis were ok, but I had to fight to get a good set. We booked expert but I’m not sure what this meant as all the boots were the same and the skis were mostly all the same level. Staff were fairly kind and helpful, but it felt like they did not really have much say in the kit, ‘they just worked there’ Overall, ok if it’s your fist time skiing, but not for anything more than intermediate, as you’ll find the kit below standard.

We hired a group set of skis. The price was good, the equipment was not. The DIN settings on the bindings on one child's skis were set at half of what they should be and we only realised after he came out of them all the time for two days. This included a bad fall where he had concussion. Another set were so loose they were rattling all over the place and the shop told us that was normal. Crazy.

The snowboarding equipment our group rented was in a really bad state. I thought we were unlucky, but l overheard lots of other people in the shop complaining about it too. Our snowboards had large cracks and scratches all over, and my bindings kept coming lose after a few hours of boarding, which seemed quite dangerous. I gave this review 2 stars rather than 1, because Jane, who works in the neighbouring La Chaudanne shop, was very friendly and helpful, and replaced me bindings with ones which were safe to use. She also waxed our boards for us.

Buyer beware. Ordered specific equipment online and paid in advance. They had no equipment ready after I queued up for 30 mins to collect. They gave me equipment that was totally wrong for me and not what I had ordered. I tried it for 1 day, it was awful and asked them for a refund as I had to do another rental from a different shop. They refused to offer me a refund.

Thought all was fine until one of our group had a ski that fell apart. Upon inspection it has rusted away and very luckily he hadn't been going at speed when it did break. Went back to the shop and they tried to blame us for it?!

Booked snowboard hire here online. Boot fitters didn't snowboard and therefore couldn't advise about boot fitting. They only had 3 different boots in my size for me to try which unfortunately didn't fit. When I asked to try another pair they brought the first pair again. They then would not give me a refund despite being unable to provide the service they advertised.
