Amazing selection of delicious homemade desserts. Lovely interior, inside and outside seating. A warm welcome and friendly service. Great coffee. I have been twice for breakfast and had to take away a slide of cake as I couldn't resist it! Will definitely be back

Takeaway only and new rules about entering cafe you queue outside. Staff following rules perfectly. Food outstanding worth waiting for. Give the polish sausage baguette a try and home made cakes.Excellant all round. Well done to all the staff.

Nice little find for us, perfect stop for breakfast before heading off for a walk along the prom. Food has always been excellent and enjoyable

Where do I start...from the cakes, food, staff, atmosphere and view ....to the hidden courtyard at the back of the property.. perfect for a private function, birthday lunch etc... Afternoon Tea is a must to try....you wont tire from visiting this wee friendly family run cafe...and if your lucky enough to get a window seat the scenery and view is breathtaking...xxxx

I stopped in for breakfast this morning and although it was busy (I soon found out why) I was served quickly and I enjoyed a delicious bacon roll and Latte coffee plus a very tasty cake! I didn't appreciate that there was indoor seating in the back of the property as well as outdoor seating next to the huge outdoor garden area to the rear of the property. I also learned (from a plaque at the rear of the property) that the building dates from around 1590 and is 'One of the finest surviving 16th Century town houses in Scotland'. The service was excellent - staff were friendly and attentive - and I paid a lot less than I would have expected given the quality of the fare provided. I'll certainly be back!
