Its a huge lake whuch I think is very peaceful where you can do water sports if you want. The walk is a long one but it is extremely muddy when raining and unfortunately people leave rubbish around there which is a shame as it could easily be an amazing walk and a definite 5 star place to go if only it was maintained better.

Lovely place for locals to spend some time outside, walking, cycling, dog walking, water sports at Aqua Club, my fave for daily walk.
Nice walk, but bring wellies as it's a swamp in December. Great in the summer though
Got there late-ish in the afternoon and was not really sure what time the gates closed, as there were some signs alluding to an afternoon closure. Anyway this hastened our walk around this little lake which was quite pleasant. It was quite muddy along the path but we had a laugh slipping around and balancing on the planks that are placed over the more muddy areas.
Nice walking path round the lake and field / woods to relax or play in. Only disappointment was lack of access to, and views of the lake. The lake is often obscured by trees and bushes.
