Hard to rate a pie shop, if you're in town, you're not going to NOT go unless you're a vegetarian. Could be improved by better labelling because I'm sure the staff get asked the same questions repeatedly. We bought the supermarket overstock they were selling outside and the priciest hand pulled, made in store number. We wish we bought one of the factory ones and Mrs Kings just for comparison but of the two pies, hand pulled won hands down (no surprise) as it was far more meaty textured with more jelly. So if you're debating it, you can get parking for cheap in town and it's less than 20 minutes to pop in and out to grab some pies. Pie happy.

We detoured on our way home from Norfolk to get a pork pie absolutely gorgeous, the pastry is crisp, full of meat with a jelly surround. Staff so friendly covid restrictions very well carried out felt safe at all times. Fabulous definitely calling again and well worth the detour
