Excellent food. We loved the mellow mushroom in MS when we were there. This one is just as good. Service was very slow but they had a help wanted sign on the door. We sat there for 30 min with no food. Waitress was very nice.

Pizza tasted great! Awesome service. Restaurant was very clean. Only reason I didn't give five stars was the pizza wasn't super hot after the first bite. Maybe because of the amount of toppings? I don't know. We usually just get cheese or pepperoni on our pizzas. We ordered the House Special. This was our first time having pizza at the Summerville Mellow Mushroom. We will definitely go back!
I want to start off by saying this was our first time trying Mellow Mushroom and we were a little excited to try something new to us (we travel a lot so we eat out a lot). We walked in and were told that it would be a 10 minute wait, which was absolutely fine (this is better than normal anywhere with seating being limited due to COVID). After being seated, our waitress was timely and friendly while giving us a rundown of everything. We ordered our drinks and appetizer (sweet tea & meatballs) which came in at a good speed and tasted pretty good (the marinara was exceptional). Here’s where the problem began.... We ordered one large pizza, one small pizza, and a salad... It took FOREVER to receive any of it and we started to see less and less of our waitress. I asked the waitress if this wait time was normal and she gave me some passive, blow smoke up my rearend, excuse (I would have respected it had she owned that they dropped the ball on this one and would not be writing this now, but she didn’t). Facts are that we were “seated” for over an hour before we received our pizzas or the salad. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the large pizza was over cooked AND had not been cut all of the way through so we had to “saw” it apart! Not wanting to hear anymore bs excuses, we paid the 75 and left. My husband never complains but he felt compelled to write a note on the back of the receipt (expressing his disappointment) but we’ll never know if management was informed or not. P.S.... They were not excessively busy so that can not be used as an excuse.
Really appreciate and utilize the take out spaces every date night we can. It will be nice to sit in the outdoor seating, while enjoying a cold beverage, when the warmer months return.
