Flor de Sal by Melides is a beach restaurant that tries to live a bit outside of the box using chef propositions mixing portuguese food with nouvelle cousine between typical portuguese restaurants. The menu is appealing but when the food arrives, everything is average and overpriced , not complying with the great looking and great names we hope from the menu. Even simple things like raw oysters were not good (dead and not fresh). The wine is good as any portuguese wine is, and the staff is friendly though. The good staff gives it a plus star. 3*'s.

Now it’s another restaurant, but food there is really nice!
Very nice food. Good value for money. amazing view for the sunset. We where the only guests today. service and quality was perfect. Will come back in high season to feel the vibe again with people. :)
Poor dishes high prices
I had high expectations from reading the menu but all the food was bland and the service was slow, considering we were the only ones there. Maybe it was a bad day, but I'm extremely unlikely to want to try again given how much we paid.
Nice food, a bit overpriced for Portuguese standards
Nice restaurant with a twist on some typical Portuguese dishes. Not a normal beach restaurant the menu is more focused on dishes for a longer lunch or dinner. The service is very friendly and cosy. Prices are not as cheap as other restaurants in the area.
Good Service, terrible food. Very over priced for really poor quality and all round disappointing meal. We have been in Portugal for two weeks and enjoyed the food. This was by far the worst meal we had.
