Mei Mei House is definitely the best Chinese take-away in Royal Tunbridge Wells. Uniquely they offer Curry Egg Fried Rice which I order most times I visit. Pickled vegetables is also something else you don’t often see in Chinese Take-aways. Last night I had Crispy Pancake Roll (it's a large one), Curried Chicken and Curry Egg Fried Rice - it was heavenly. The food here is not greasy and the staff are lovely. I only wish they delivered. I have attached a photo of the menu.

Great food as always, we only ever order our Chinese from the mei mei house, everything was cooked well, very nice people also
Quite surprised about the high rating of the place to be honest. The food tastes like it was unfrozen and warmed up, then premade sauce was added, I am convinced that is the case (common practice in low budget Chinese takeaways) Most of our dishes were tasteless and soaked in grease, which made us feel unwell afterwards. The only positive thing is that the portions were bigger than you expect from around the area, but that is it. Would not recommend this to anyone who cares about what they’re eating
Always great food, lovely staff and good prices
Discovered this black curly hair in our rice (telling ourselves it was beard or head hair, although cannot rule out pube!) phoned to complain, felt too ill to eat the food so asked for a refund, they said they would only refund the rice, not the whole order! Will never use again and have told all our friends who often eat there! Disgusting!!
