My favorite hawker food place. Been frequenting this place since schooling days from late 70's. Hawker food that I like are the laksa (n mee Siam), Curry rice, Char Siew/Siew Yoke rice & Char Tow Kueh, all original from the 70's. Also very popular is the Satay stall that relocated here from Jonker St not too long ago.

Good location for quick meal and small plates for sharing. Value for money, tastes good. Washing point and toilets avaliable.
Always have been (since I was a pre school kid) one of my favourite food joints since the days of "Pokok Ketapang" (Indian Almond Tree). The hawkers are friendly, tasty variety of food makes you want to come again and a very relaxed environment (if you don't mind the normal coffee shop chatter).
Still a good place to have your breakfast and lunch. Due to the pandemic, alot of shops only operates on weekend. Prices there is reasonable.
Simple and quick street food and coffee, nothing special but for local ppl, place a bit dirty

I visit here more than 30 years, before and after renovate.
I like to eat one of the store which it served for vegetarian foods... Vege mee rebus is a must to try there....
