Coming from France for a week we rent a scooter at Medsun’s for 4 days. I absolutely recommend. The scooter seemed old at a first view but was strong (important as Malta’s roads are not the smoothest) And Chris is very friendly. He explained us how to park the scooter, the speed limits and about the gaz. All went perfectly well. Thanks for all!
Rented a scooter for 3 days. It was the perfect choice to visit Malta (and Gozo). The owner was very kind and provide as useful informations.
Couldn't recommend this service enough. It was so different to what I'm used to when hiring cars abroad. I think it was Chris we met. He was so helpful in every way from pickup to drop off. Look no further. The previous good reviews all proved to be true. No need to worry about getting a scrape and losing a deposit on the narrow streets of Malta. That peace of mind is worth a lot.

After reading disastrous reviews about rental car companies such as Goldcar and the scams they employ, I thought my God, there's no way I'm going to use them. As a solo traveler I thought that touring Malta by scooter would be easier and cheaper. I'm glad that I did because renting with Medsun was a very positive experience. The owner's shop is located right in St. Julian's and it's very quick and painless to get your vehicle and get on the road. Only 25 euros/day (low season) is very much worth it. There are many advantages to renting a scooter rather than a car. First, you can bypass the frequent traffic jams by scooting to the side. Second, very good gas mileage. Third, parking is much easier. You do need to mind the roads as sometimes they can be rough, but it's nowhere near as bad as people were claiming. From their description it sounded like I'd be driving on the moon. If I come back to Malta I'll hire here again. I believe he rents cars too. Thank you.
I asked to make a reservation 2 weeks before my stay, they told me to just pop by upon arrival; shop was closed although it should have been open according to the timetable in the door; tried to call several times; no answer; wrote emails, no answer.
I have rented vehicles from Chris while in Malta on multiple occasions. He is very friendly, straightforward, and will get you on your vehicle quickly. Drive safely and treat the vehicles as you would any other rental vehicle, don’t do anything stupid, and you will be fine! I will come back and rent from Medsun every time I’m in Malta.
