The food is delicious. Great seasoning. Besides flavor, too me, good BBQ means having the right amount of fat. a slim amount for flavor, but not so much that a third of the meat is gone when removing it. They use a great selection of meat. The sauce was good and so were the sides. I would definitely recommend!

I was looking to get out of my apartment and a friend who used to live in DFW recommended this restaurant as his go to spot for BBQ. I placed an order online for pickup, because I wasn’t sure about outdoor seating and I’ve been cautious about eating indoors, due to COVID-19. I arrived and the main parking lot was full, but I was able to find a spot. As soon as I exited my car, there was a wonderful aroma of BBQ in the air. I entered the restaurant and was promptly greeted. The employees were very friendly and were able to answer all of my questions about the menu, to ensure I had an awesome experience! I ordered what my friend suggested, the Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage and Smoked Brisket Tamales (which were available as a Thursday special). I decided to stay and eat at one of the 4 tables outside, so I could social distance. I first took a bite of the sausage and it was amazing and very tasty. The tamales with the suggested side of chile con carne was amazing, as well. The barbecue sauces are yummy and delicious and went well with my sausage, although not needed. The Sticky Red (original) had a good flavor, the Carolina Style is sweet and the West Texas Heat is spicy, but not too spicy that it’ll burn your tongue off! I wasn’t sure about the beverages when placing my online order, but they have several bottled drinks and fountain drinks, as well. The fountain machine doesn’t have Coke or Pepsi, but RC Cola (which I thought was pretty cool)! Anyways, definitely a 5 star restaurant and definitely worth the 25-30 min drive from my location in Dallas. I’m looking forward to visiting again and trying a few other menu items!
Love this place and everything about it. You cannot go wrong with anything. That being said, besides the meats try the mac, creamed corn, and the El Gran (served all day). You will not be disappointed.
The absolute best BBQ I've ever had! If you go here, you will taken to a world of mouth watering, tender flavor of the likes no other place can compare. I've been to many a BBQ joint and Meat U Anywhere takes the crown hands down! Go and you will not be disappointed
If joy is not complete until it's expressed, then I could go on and on about the brisket at Meat U Anywhere BBQ. And, while I'm a little sad it's taken me this long to write a review, I don't think I have a friend, family member, or acquaintance that I haven't been able to get to try this place out. Not one of them has ever regretted their decision to eat here. The bark on their brisket locks in the moisture and flavor unlike anything else. I could eat that stuff for every meal - and some days I have. Their brisket, egg, and cheese tacos alone make my mouth water at any time of day - not just breakfast. What a brilliant idea to make brisket so accessible to breakfast crowds!! On top of all of this, the fact that they originated in Grapevine only adds to their greatness! A city like Grapevine - with all of its hometown appeal and historic roots - deserves a place like Meat U Anywhere BBQ!
