I Sent my CV to MCS Group and I quickly received a number of suggested employment opportunities from Alan Montgomery, their technical and Engineering consultant. All posts were tailored to my experience and based around what I wanted from a job, not just filling a position in a role I was not suited to. I applied to a number of these roles and the first job I interviewed for I was able to secure a permanent position in an engineering and environmental role related to my Masters project. Overall, a very positive experience, Alan is very courteous and understanding, providing key advice to improve my chances of employment and guiding me through the interview process while contacting companies on my behalf. Highly recommend!!

Wow, I was really worried when I moved here from Canada about finding work and when I signed on with MCS I was paired with Emma and she was personable kind and extremely responsive. She believe in me as a candidate and encouraged me to personalize my cover letter for different jobs, even giving me tips on what they told her they were looking for. I really felt like she was working day and night trying to find me work, always available to chat on Linkedin. After about 2 months of searching I landed a job at an AMAZING company. MCS have by far been the best recruitment agency I have worked with. I knew I wanted to make a change and I had a clear idea of where I want to be in 5/10 years time, but I didn’t really know what exactly I needed to do to get there. I decided to contact a few well known recruiters in Belfast and MCS were by far the best. I initially spoke to Adam on the phone and explained what I was aspiring to in the future and he knew immediately what kind of experience I needed now and where would be the best fit for me. He then scheduled a 45 min call with him and Sara who really took the time to understand my experience, qualifications and expectations of pay etc. He and Sara then presented me with a number of job opportunities that would be suited to me and organised interviews/coffees for me, making the process so simple. Sara and Adam made sure that I was put in contact with both larger and smaller accountancy firms so I could get a feel of the market and the difference in culture (which was a big factor for me) in the different firms. I recently worked with Chris Busby in relation to a prospective role and found the experience and service provided was top notch. I have found many have used the Covid Pandemic as an excuse to provide a lesser service, this was not the case with Chris and I have no hesitation in recommending or working with him in the future again.
