It took me roughly an hour to get to the pizza shop. Parking is a little hard to come by. I spent almost 80 bucks on food because I wanted to try a little bit of everything since I drove so far. I ordered a gyro which was pretty good, the breadsticks were over done borderline burnt but well seasoned, the ribs weren't bad but not the greatest (st Louis cut with sweet spicy cause), the fries with my ribs were good but they forgot the coleslaw, mac and cheese bites were excellent, the beans and greens were tasty but had way too much red pepper flake for my liking, also got a half cheese half pepperoni/bacon pizza. I loved the sweet sauce and the cheese, however the bottom of the pizza was burned like it had sat on the top of the oven too long. All in all it was pretty good, may try it again in the future if I'm ever out that way again.
The salads are amazing and the wedding soup is the best around! Garlic knots and Sicilian pizza are to die for. Highly recommend! Staff was super nice as well.
One of the very best white pizzas in the United States. Everything that goes into it has love and this is a great place for home cooking. This place is truly special.
When it comes to Italian Food, I'd go to Mama Lena's over any other place in Pittsburgh. Their Wedding soup is hands down the best soup I've ever had. I love this place and their staff! They really care and don't skimp on anything they do. I would recommend trying this place out if you can. It's worth every bit of your time.
