The biggest issue of this whole situation was the fact that it was lack of communication apparently they stopped trash service in our area and never informed us communication was horrible on that department. Issue has finally been resolved only due to the fact that finding out I needed to get a new trash service. (I've been calling them since last Saturday I put in for a missed pickup my pickup so usually on Fridays I was told that it was going to be picked up Monday no call no show called them when I got home from work they were then supposed to pick it up on Tuesday No call no show get a text message about 5:30 stating that it would be picked up on Wednesday still no call no show called again was promised it would be picked up Friday evening before closing day still no pickup no call no show)

Dec 28, 2020 was supposed to be trash and recycle pickup. Even checked the schedule in the app and all my neighbors must have as well because everybody's recycle bins were out. Monday, get a text message that recycle will not be picked up that day, but will be by noon on Tuesday. Tuesday comes, no pickup. Wednesday, no pickup. Thurs... No pickup. See where this is going? I call on Thurs and say that our recycle wasn't picked up on Monday, when are they going to pick it up, since the following week would be trash only. They say oh no, there was no pickup scheduled for the 28th, it will be on Jan 4th. I said again, that's not true, there was scheduled pickup for recycle on the 28th, I screenshot the app and have the text message to boot. Why would I get a text about the recycle not being picked up if it wasn't scheduled?? I ended up calling a few of the phone numbers in the text and left some voicemails. Lady returned my call and was very confused too, telling me, no sched p/u for the 28th, but for the 4th. Said she would look into it, but I never got a call back. Also, none of the phone numbers in the text message that went out work any more-tried them today and they all just ring and then the call ends, sometimes only after 2 or 3 rings. This is very typical of Republic... Missed pickups, damaged bins, text messages saying my bin wasn't out for collection when it was... They really don't know their elbow from their you-know-what... My HOA exclusively uses them, so I have no choice unfortunately, but they're terrible.
Been with this company for over a year and it’s always an issue with my trash being picked up. They don’t take bulk trash. The trash driver lies about excess trash and I’ve also had trash thrown across my yard after the trash being picked up. They have no value of customer satisfaction and refuse to fix the problems they created. As of today they are Canceled!
I’m new to the Conyers GA area and decided to select Republic Trash Services for residential trash removal. Absolute worst mistake! I requested and paid for two 90-gallon containers on Thursday 7/2/20. I was told the containers would be delivered the following week. Week of 7/6/20, no containers. No call or email from Republic. I called on Friday 7/10/20 for an update on delivery of the two containers and to confirm my trash pick up schedule. I was told by Cary that the containers would be delivered on Monday 7/13/20. I called the morning of 7/13/20 to confirm delivery and ensure that I would receive two containers. Again, Republic confirmed delivery for 7/13/30 by 7pm. By 4pm, still no containers. I decided to call again; got confirmation of 7pm. By 7:35, there still was no containers and by the way, my trash pick up is scheduled for tomorrow 7/14/20. I was told by Cary to ensure I sat the containers at the curb the night before. How am I supposed to remove my trash without containers?? Clearly, going with a republic was a terrible choice! Please trust the reviews! I wish I had read them before contacting Republic. The company truly is awful. If they can’t even deliver the containers, I can only imagine what I’m in for with the service (if I ever get my containers.) Please save yourself the stress; go with someone else!
I'm 61 they have told me twice that I would get a new can ( 21st and 29th). Still no new can, called June 1st told a supervisor would call no call. Called June 3rd told supervisor would call within 2 hours no call. Called this morning June 4th asked for their supervisor's number stated they didn't have a number. Everyone has a boss with a number. I didn't break the can their trunks did.
