I have been into this chippie before when passing but this time i was driving past with my wife and we decided to get fish and chips each for dinner. I got lucky that there were 2 medium cods that had just been cooked with no ones name on, and I left with double fish an chips despite being in the shop for less than a few minutes. My wife and I decided to go for it and eat in the car rather than wait 20 minutes to get home. Like savages we consumed what we both agreed to be the best fish we have had since a trip to worthing over decade beforehand. Crispy batter with great thickness of cod and no running oil . In fact it was so fresh and delicious we have decided to make this place our local...despite another 5 or 6 places being closer. Great prices. Friendly staff. .The place is spotlessly clean and the fish is so tasty! ....did we just get lucky?? I hope not and time will tell !...until next time. !

Found this chip shop recently & it’s the best we’ve had. We travel from Hemel Hempstead & wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Generous portions & had cod tonight which was perfect. Very friendly nice staff. Thank you.
Chips were soggy and my battered sausage was in the same bag so was a soggy sausage when I ate it. Good portions and good prices but nothing to shout about.
