I rarely post reviews but I had a pretty terrible experience here. Went to fill a prescription using a third-party which they told me they no longer worked with, and that was it. No questions about what the medication was (good thing it wasn't insulin!) and no offer to help any further. The whole experience was rushed and rude, and I've never felt like this before after visiting a pharmacy. It's okay if you can't help me out, but there's no need to be so cold/uncaring about it. Would not recommend this place at all.

Very poor experience. The counter staff (skim short Asian woman) was miserable and the overweight Asian circa 50 year old guy behind the partition I took to be the pharmacist who she asked my question to was both very unhelpful and again utterly miserable. I'll avoid McCoigs in future and guys, if you're reading this, friendly, helpful service is a big reason people use local chemists over the chains, so in your own interests try and actually give that, and importantly SMILE once in a while!!
Any time I have called they have always been very helpful and professional. All the staff are friendly and polite. I read a negative review, I can only talk about my experience which has been excellent. Thank you Steve
excellent pharmacy and very helpful. I get my own and wife's monthly prescriptions here. Only delays I have found is getting the prescription sent over from the doctor's sometimes, but this is not their fault. Staff always very friendly and helpful.
Excellent Pharmacy. The regular pharmacist 'Neill' there is always helpful and friendly. Sometimes a bit of wait at peak surgery times so, if possible, leave prescription and come back later, or use the Doctor's online ordering to have it sent to them electronically and then pop in to pick it up next day.
