Mc Art's Fort is absolutely wonderful!! What a place!!...The view is breathtaking!! You should try it!!...with Belfast Castle on the one side....the peak, the greenery, the caves,etc. Fresh air n clean surroundings.
The best views of Belfast are only found here. Take the easy walk from the Hightown Road entrance or begin the steep climb from Belfast Castle and up to the 1st cave. On return the 'Devil's slide' is a popular but dangerous descent. Bring plenty of water and suitable clothing for the weather.
