I have been going to Maz Mezcal for 30 years. The food and service is always great and very welcoming. I love the atmosphere and out door seating. Now that indoor dining is not permitted because of covid I was concerned that ordering in would not be the same ... was I wrong the food is amazing and my sangria was delivered to perfection with the fruit on the side. It is great that we have this gem in the neighborhood and I commend them for staying open and providing a great service during these difficult times. If I could give more than 5 stars I would..

Went to Central Park and then walked over here to eat. We were exhausted so we decided dine inside with the AC nice and cool. The decor and music set the atmosphere. Esteban was our waiter and made our experience wonderful! The food was delicious as was the presentation. One of the best dinners we have had! Highly recommended!! We loved the watermelon at the end!

Food is very good. However, you gamble when ordering a shrimp dish. More than once I received less then fresh shrimp. Over the years they have reduced the portions significantly on takeout orders, but charge the same as dine in.Bad policy. Customers notice. BTW, FYI. I have been patronizing since Don Pedro and El Sombrero.
Authentic Mexican flavor and service. Guacamole, tried color salsa platter make a delish appetizer. Mole dish sort of mild but otherwise pleasing.
