I have been shopping there for the last 5 yrs. Prices are competitive with the grocery stores and they have just about everything you need. Also it is a great gift store as well. The owner Carla is always pleasant as well as the girls. They will always have my business.

Our family has been vacationing near Maynooth for over twenty years and each year we always make sure to stop into the general store. Aside from actual groceries and supplies, they have all kinds of great toys, games and activities for kids, including a huge assortment of northern themed stuffed animals (moose, bears, loons, etc.). They also have awesome souvenir items like mugs, clothing and t-shirts with great designs (as well as their own classic bear logo) and even stock authentic Canadian made moccasins and mukluks. And if that wasn't enough, they just introduced their own brand of coffee! It wasn't available when we were there, but they were kind enough to mail it to us for a small fee. It's fantastic! The owners are great, salt of the earth people. I can't say enough good things about this place.
Great place to pick up Maynooth, Lake St. Peter and Baptiste Lake souvenirs ar reasonable prices. Good selection of moccasins. Basic selection of your necessary groceries and snacks. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Fantastic general country store specializing in basic groceries, local souvenirs and Canadian products. The Moccasin section must be visited! Also a wonderful collection of Dutch products, both sweet and savoury treats.
Amazing service and friendly staff, also a great place for a gift or souvenirs.
