Dinner was excellent as usual. It was great to get out to a restaurant under CV-19 circumstances. We love the \Just Beet It\ salad and have craved it for months. Chef Edgar made a magnificent swordfish steak for our anniversary meal. Dessert was a very tasty Lemon Praline Cheesecake. I enjoyed the table visit by Chef Edgar and his in depth discussion about the restaurant was very informative. Thanks for a wonderful evening !

My husband and I share the same birthday so we decided to go to Maynard's - we ordered the ribs which were quite good - no complaints at all! Came with a sweetened coleslaw with red cabbage which was delicious and crunchy yummy french fries. Only complaint there was we asked if we could order sweet potato french fries and they don't offer them. We also noticed the alcoholic drinks were priced as much as some dinner meals as were some desserts. (14/15) That was a bit surprising as we had never seen that done on a menu before. For dessert we ordered what we were told was the largest and the least expensive - the brownie with ice cream and cone on top....average but enjoyable. Especially when we told them it was our joint birthday - and - on your birthday you get a free brownie dessert!! That made our night! Would we go back? I think so.
Completely raw steak. They do not understand the proper temperature to reach your level of pink desired. * In response to the owners message. Your establishment is advertised as finer eating experience. The only go thing I would have to say about it was that the waiter was very kind and understanding. The demeanor of even the GM was abrasive. That fact that we didn't have to pay for dangerously prepared food is laughable. I could understand if it came out even medium rare, but it came before our appetizer and was blue rare. And after sending it back to be fixed was still blood red. No we don't want a gift card and free meal from you after it was proven twice to fail. This review is for future patrons to see and be more informed on their place of choice. Perhaps the couple that at the same time had to also send their food back, would have appreciated this review sooner.

The service and atmosphere were great. The food was not on my best list. While I understand they have a limited menu at the moment they have not posted that online. We chose to go there based on something we wanted on the menu and then they didn't have it. What we did order was nothing special. Even just the ceasar salad wasn't very good. Not messed up but the greens really overpowered the dressing and were bitter tasting. The trout was a bit dry and salty. Mac n cheese with steak was just so so. Had better at other places. The only thing that was above and beyond (other than service) was the desserts. They were good.
