Lindsay was a pleasure to work with. She allowed us time to review menu choices prior to this, our first trip to Scotland, to ensure that we would be making a meal that would suit our taste buds! Our time in the kitchen was a highlight of the trip, especially because it allowed our husbands to do some hands-on baking, which was such fun to watch. The lessons took place at a beautiful farm in a beautiful setting, at the crest of rolling hills outside the back door where we could relax on the patio and watch the livestock grazing in the distance. The dining room was lovely, the candle-lit table simply set, with china, linens and candlelight. Lindsay's assistant was also a joy, and greatly contributed to our experience. We have worked really closely with Lindsay at our local school. She has provided help and advice to staff about resources and about how to teach children to cook. She also conducted two day workshops with our P4 children. Staff used this as a learning opportunity too. The children loved making their cottage pies and were really proud of their achievements. We hope to continue working with Lindsay in the future.
Great value and superb food. We had a delicious buffet at our training. I almost couldn't manage a cup cake as I found the mini quiche so addictive. It's a big thumbs up from the library staff. Would definitely recommend Lindsey if you you are organising a buffet.
I would recommend Lindsay unequivocally. The food was absolutely delicious, she and Paul were professional, efficient and they were both lovely people. I am already trying to think when I can hire her again!
