Very tasty meals and a super location
Very nice traditional Austrian atmosphere. Prices a bit on the higher end but I guess any experience comes with a price tag! Outside area is very scenic with the wooden bridge path to the chapel adding a beautiful flavor.
its a nice place- but they are absolutely taking the mikey with their pricing. tap water is also charged. 2 euros per roll and so on. if you, like many guests, are diplomats and money does not matter- be their guest. as a local you will struggle find anything as dear. menu is very unimaginative. steltze or chicken. wowed to not come back for good last time
Food tastes good, however prices are expensive and portions rather small. The restaurant is perfectly located in the middle of the forest, connected to a chapel via a small bridge over a creek.
Love this place. Going there for many many years. Always excellent food and atmosphere. Warm welcome by the owners. Super friendly staff. Nice area around. Pleasant walk through Vienna forest before and after the meal. Good place to escape from the city. Sometimes parking can get crowded. Highly recommended. Would rate it 10 stars.
