Excellent selection of Ice Cream, and good location when the weather is grand to 'Go for a Poke!' Very friendly team, who are knowledgeable about the vast selection of ice creams for sale. At the time of visit, the queues were very long and they where operating 'Cash Only'

Great ice cream in a tiny wee shop.
Great variety of ice cream and having visited Maud's in other towns I was looking forward to a treat. However while I waited in the queue I noticed two of the staff swishing their long hair over one shoulder as they turned to the till, then flicking it over the other as they scooped the ice cream. Not a hairnet in sight and totally unhygienic and unacceptable. I reckon if a Food Inspector had come in they'd be closed down. I turned on my heels and left without buying. Prices are much too high as well. The mark-up on ice cream must be phenomenol. Really need to clean up their act.
