Excellent, both the level of detail in the eye examination and the co-operative attitude towards helping with possible continuing issues needing help. Also helpful and friendly staff in shop. The hearing test was also a pleasure. Just a shame you can't do 10 stars.

Amazing opticians, the wonderful person Vicki is so professional, polite and just a pleasure to deal with. Excellent selection with that perfect personal experience.
Excellent service and lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend them. The entire visit was a pleasant experience.
Fabulous service, second to none. Both the optician (Adam) and the dispenser (Sarah) did not rush through the appointment, both explained everything and options available. It was first class service with nothing too much trouble. My daughter experienced their contact lense service which again was amazing. I highly recommend this amazing independent optician.
Having been with Matthews Opticians since they took over Vision Express, I have found them to be friendly and very helpful. I would recommend any person who needs their eyes tested to visit Matthews Opticians.
