A really nice Italian restaurant. We have been back several times and eat in the bar because the bartender is so wonderful! So will make anything you like and do it well. The food is very good too

Outstanding Italian. I believe this is the same Matteo's that was in North Royalton. We've finally visited the new location and it works much better for this nice restaurant. Menu is true Italian not that oddball Americanized olive garden trash. Do yourself a favor, dine local and visit Matteo's tonight.
What a great Christmas Eve dinner location! Close to home. Had very delicious scallops. Would have 5 stars if Scallops were bigger or more of them. Very nice cozy fun venue. Modern Italian menu.
It has a nice atmosphere and the servers are very friendly and helpful. There were four of us and the consensus on the food was very good. My veal Matteo however was dry and overdone. Probably would not order again. The other meals were very good. We had to remind our server to bring one of us a drink from the bar. She also forgot to bring the coffee we ordered. We were under a time constraint so we just passed on the coffee. The server was exceptionally nice so not a big deal. We'll go back, but I'll order a different meal.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The service was great, the food was phenomenal!
