Awesome clean place. I got free room upgrade since there were not many customers. Price for the hotel is really cheap. Definitely recommended for travellers.

The Bad: 1. Very hot temperature, hotter than outside during summer. I asked staff to turn down the temperature but they were not allowed. 2. Very slow wifi 3. Very thin uncomfortable futon The Good: 1. Free bag storage while hiking. 2. Amazing location 3. Clean

Strategically located near the bus terminal for bus service to Kamikochi and near to the train station. Convenient stores are nearby and hotel also provide free bicycles rental service.
Guy doubled the price when I asked him how much it was (comparing the price to online booking) Then when I mentioned the price he said that that's not right and I couldn't show him because my battery died, and I said again that I know for a fact that it was like 50% cheaper so he made it 40% (off of the bloated price) but this is during corona and I mentioned how most even have like 75% off the actual price, and he laughed an gave a 20 yen discount . _. Even though I mentioned that I I know the hotel industry as well l... But I had to pay because of urgent matters. Giving two stars because the facilities were nice and so were the other staff
A little more expensive than backpacker hostels but this place is a bit more modern. 4 star only because the onsen is for men only. Room was spacious and clean. Lobby with 3 desktops to use openly. Reception helpful making some phone calls for us.
Good budget hotel at prime location. Comfortable bed and clean.
