Very enjoyable day out. Some restrictions due to Corona virus but they didn't spoil the day. Great fun riding the trams, excellent indoor displays and some interesting buildings that have been relocated here, the pub pictured being a particularly fine example. Well worth a look, and good value too as your ticket allows return trips for a year. Highly recommended!

It is a lovely place for the whole family. Spend a little time on the tram, visit the exhibitions, take a tour in the museum... Almost forgot, the gift shop is really inexpensive, the sweet shop is a classic as well. Spend some time on the play ground, take a rest and eat something until the small ones get tired.

A great family day out. A lot of the attractions were unavailable due to Covid, but still plenty to see and do. Good, educational visit with places to eat, souvenir and gift shops. Wheelchair friendly, although you do have to leave wheelchairs in the buggy park whilst riding the trams. Also, the pavements were very uneven in places and not many dropped kerbs for wheelchair access. Other than that, an enjoyable and fun day out. As tickets are valid for a year, we will definitely visit again soon.

So this isn't a place we would perhaps choose on our holiday but with Covid we have chosen lots of new places. And Crich was one of them. It was perhaps the best day of our holiday! The kids (5 and 2) loved riding the trams and watching them going up and down and the museum was just large enough. They enjoyed the yummy lunch at the tea rooms (jacket potatoes for me and my son, sandwiches for my daughter and chicken burger for my husband). There is more - the children's play area is great - it has wonderful equipment - a zipline, climbing frame with slide and swings. We also really enjoyed the sculpture trail. There is a woodworking man who has made some great interactive sculptures for kids (and big kids) such as my potato head, ant and troll. Up at the top of the walk is some more interactive sculptures and a display around the mining history of the site which was really interesting. The place is a great day out and worth supporting in this small business in these times.

I’ve been visiting Crich tramway museum for probably about 50 years and have enjoyed every single visit. We visited last weekend for the first time for a few years mainly for an Eastern European car event and despite the Covid secure measures had a great time. The cars were great but the trams are always the star.
