Small and nice train station to start your journey to the highest Abraham. The place there is really amazing, beautiful views to the hills, castle and other places you see there! Moreover there are two caves, Masson Cavern and Rutland Cavern, these caves are really awesome and it’s top attractions in the Peak District!

Classic looking station
I Think Matlock is A Really nice place Because Of the Cable carts and Arcades but The Train station is Not Big Nuff because Sometimes it's Really busy to Derby.
Beautiful place for a family break. A small town with lot's to see and do. People are kind and lovely here. If you do visit please don't miss the Cable Car for 360 breathtaking views of Matlock Bath.
Horrendous parking. No one there to advise if it's full due to visitors at the Heights of Abraham attraction nearby. Cars were coming in but were stuck inside due to lack of management. You could see parking personnel checking cars were displaying tickets but were not bothered to help sort out the traffic jam due to cars entering the parking space even though it was full. The authorities interested in making as much money from parking tickets but not interested in welfare of visitors. There is a car park about 15 min walk away, recommend that to anyone going to Abraham heights instead of Matlock Bath rail station car park
