Mathews Food and Drink is a fine place for Breakfast or Brunch. They have outdoor seating available and tables are placed at socially distance. We were lucky to get table immediately without reservations. But I'm sure given the location of this place, it is recommended to call before you come. They also have QR code for menu to check online. We came here for Brunch. We ordered Avocado Toast and Black Bean Burger with Deviled Eggs. Burger was delicious with perfection of moist. Deviled Eggs were unique. We haven't had such boiled eggs elsewhere. Both are must recommended. Avocado Toast was okay. I have had better. Taking one star for Toast. Staff was friendly but bit hurried. She was rushing us to place an order. Might be because of limited seating. Glad we checked menu before we came so our mind was set on what to order.

We booked at Matthews for a last minute date night... we were warm inside! The staff were absolutely lovely, good and fast service! Espresso martini and the hot toddy equivalent were amazing drinks! For food we had the corn fritters (INCREDIBLE), NY Strip steak and ragu. All were AMAZINGGGGG I am still dreaming about the steak... can’t wait to go back!

Such a great meal in a beautiful building. Great central location. Their menu wasn't massive, but the flavor sure was. They have outdoor dining with propane heaters which was really nice. We ended up indoors. Definitely try the corn fritters for appetizers!

Clean and tasty food with a pinch of creativity. The chicken sandwich, mussels, black bean burger, truffle fries and broccoli were delicious. The Mac and cheese was a little plain. Overall, would order for delivery again and recommend this place to others. Kuddos to the team.

I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. I ordered their brunch to go. I got lemon ricotta pancakes and the hot honey crispy chicken sandwich. Their food was absolutely amazing and the place itself is kept very nicely. They have ample space for dining but it does seem to get busy. Now what really led me to write this review is Eli. I had an issue with my order which I did not realize until I had gotten back home with the food. I reached out to let them know via the contact section of their website. In what seemed like almost no time at all, Eli reached out to me and went above and beyond what I even expected to fix the issue. I would happily go to this place again and definitely recommend them to anyone in the area for brunch. I believe these are the same owners as White Star Bar which also has exceptional burgers.
