I have been to the matchbox at dc several times and love it. So this was my second trip to the ashburn one, I am not sure if it’s because of pandemic but it was a horrible experience, they were out of everything! They were out of champagne glasses so they used regular wine glasses. I have 3 kids and they gave us the activity paper but were out of crayons. They gave us no silverware until we asked for it. Almost ever single beer they were out of that my husband asked for. The last straw was their restroom, it was in horrible condition, hadn’t been cleaned at all and was sinking horribly! I would definitely never go their again. However the waitress was nice and apologetic that they were out of almost everything we asked for.
Delivery was super quick and we never order delivery because of all the things that could go wrong haha but this was really really good!!! also, the food was a bit salty... but we went there before the pandemic and all those times the food was amazing!!
Best meal I've had in a while. The mini burgers were delish, the pizza thin and crispy and the flan was the best I've ever had. You won't regret coming here.
We went in there because the restaurant next door was closed, matchbox didn't disappoint us! The tacos were ok but the other food and drinks were really good!!
