This is a good homestay, but go directly to the house and talk with the family, that is very nice. A man on the street proposed to us to go to his place and we realized later that this wasn't his house and that he charged the 50% more the price for himself. Be very careful of this man both for accommodations and for any activity in the area: he says that his brother/sister can help you, but it's just to take part of the money. Avoid any dishonest intermediate like this one. The same man proposed to us also to go for a sea trip. September isn't a good time to go to the ocean and we get stuck in a storm on the little boat for hours. The cost guard came to help us. Even in this case he pushed us to go in order to take part of the money.

We had a very nice stay with good breakfast. Unfortunately the family is not honest. They took us on a boat trip to fish and snorkel even though they must have known that time and wheather were too bad to do either. They still charged for it. In the end they wanted more rupies for the rooms then they said in the beginning and argued with us who stayed 5 nights. Since all 4 of us know on how much we agreed it made us very mad!!!!!! So sad!
We had a nice stay there. Rooms conform to a normal Sri Lankan standard and are very clean. The accomondation is run by a family, where unfornately only the daughter speaks English. The beach is only a few meters away.

Hostal muy agradable con una família como administradores muy amable. Comida local muy buena, aunque eso si, hay que tomarselo con calma....tardan entre una hora y dos en prepararla. A muy pocos metros de la playa. Dispone de una terraza fantástica, donde almorzar y comer tranquilamente. Hemos estado muy a gusto.
Sehr lustige und herzliche Familie. Alles sehr einfach aber dafür äusserst gemütlich. Geputzt wird nur auf Wunsch oder sie geben Dir die frische Wäsche und den Besen in die Hand. Dafür ist es auch sehr preisgünstig! Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und der Fisch perfekt. Wir sind schnell Freunde geworden und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Darum haben wir den Rest unserer Ferien (9Nächte) dort verbracht und die Rundreise verschoben. Empfehlenswert für alle die es einfach aber persönlich mögen.
Très mauvaise expérience. On m'a attribué la chambre du rez de chaussée juste à côté du logement des propriétaires. La chambre n'a pas de fenêtres. Les chiens ont aboyé une bonne partie de la nuit et à 6h du matin les propriétaires hurlaient sans tenir compte de leurs hôtes. Je devais passer 2 nuits je n'y suis restée qu'une seule
Hadden kamers met badkamer gereserveerd maar moest gebruik maken van een badkamer op de gang. Deze was open aan de bovenzijde en niet bepaald schoon. Zijn slechts 1 nacht gebleven. Waren niet de enige gasten die eerder vertrokken.
