Pretty nice place, has a really good and big picnic park and also has an abandoned building close by for those who like to look at a forgotten era. I've noticed the possibility for hiking trails here but saw no official indication that there's a trail established here.

Very cute picnic place.
Eucalyptus forest. The smell exiting the car just makes it magical. So powerful when we were there that we could smell it in the car a hour after we left.
Magnificent, extraordinary, wonderfull place. In my opinion one of the most magical place on Terceira. Fabulous scenery. Incredible lush green. The air is fresh and moist. Here I feel like in a fairy tale. Great wooden swing (also for adult). Good for alone relax or BBQ with family. It is unbelievable, forest scent \come in\ and fill our car's interior. -Small parking

An out of the way surprise of a mixture of nature and man made park. The only lost star is from those that throw trash where ever they choose.... Shame
What a place. The definition of nature. The plants are so huge that feels like we are in the jungle. Just beautiful.
