The kids love to go there and play in the cold and wintery days. The lazy river is so wonderful and relaxing, the little kids section is so much fun for the little kids.
It appears my last review was somehow deleted from Before the Covid outbreak(interesting).So I will say it again. The lifeguards were absolutely repulsive except for 1 kind girl. I have never encountered such a rude disrespectful gaggle of young ladies in my life. Front desk girls were very polite and helpful as it was our first time there with the little one to swim. As we left the front desk staff (new shift) was very friendly and helpful.
Such a great place to take my kid on a cold snowy day when he wants to go swimming. And the price is just right considering he's 2 and were only there a couple hours. It's fun for adults too. I went to an over night event here in high school forever ago and it was the perfect venue. Lots of fun for all ages.
Best spot in Massillon to workout, swim/sauna, play basketball, and bring the kids (childwatch included in family membership). Clean facilities (props to Tyrone, Vern), courteous and helpful staff, and friendly regulars. It's an incredible asset to the community and Parks Department. I hesitate to criticize anything these hardworking folks do, but extending the weekend hours would be great. Just wanna get more time in at the Rec...thanks, all!
