Incredible homemade American food. Very cozy dining room. I had their signature dish, old fashioned fried chicken. It was ‘like grandma used to make’ kind of amazing. The gravy for the homemade mashed potatoes is incredible. Biscuits are homemade and absolutely mouth watering. Service was fast and prices are very fair for the quality.

This is the first time we have been to this restaurant and if you are looking for a good hot home cooked meal without having to prepare it for yourself, this is the restaurant you need to eat at. We loved this place so much we will be back at least once a month.

Food is good. Staff can work on their attitudes. Second time coming where I’ve experienced major attitude problems. It seems as if no one wants to really be here. I’ve been a server off and on for many years and I’d be happy to come work for them :)

Sadly this place is almost as bad as it gets. The service is terrible (server sat our drinks on adjacent table and left them there for about 10 minutes). The house wine at 6.25 a glass was unpalatable. Our salad and bread were fresh and tasty but the entrées took so long to come out we really didn't want to stay but we were still hungry. My friend ordered catfish and it was under fried (even though we requested crispy), and I ordered prime rib. His catfish tasted very muddy and my prime rib, medium rare, was raw, chewy and pretty much tasteless. I had to ask for salt, pepper and horseradish. We ended up just getting it to go, because we just couldn't eat it. So pretty much 80 down the drain. When I was growing up here the family went here often and the food and service used to be fantastic, Sadly it has seen better days and I can't ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. Go somewhere else.

I ate at this restaurant when I was a kid 30 years ago. We just moved back to town and this was one of the first things that we have re-experienced. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was as good as we remembered! A place that lives up to its well earned reputation! Stop by a local restaurant and treat yourself today
