Fabulous spot for sushi and other very traditional Japanese fare. Had the flounder which was probably caught the same day; delicious. Attentive service. Will be back!

Love love love! This place is so simple, fresh and good! It's a quicker version of Sugarfish. The concept is simple: get a menu, pick what you want, sit at the sushi bar (no tables here), and let your meal roll out. I usually get the 4-hand roll set menu. At other sushi places I tend to stick to salmon or tuna because I know these items will typically be fresh, but at Masamune Japanese Restaurant everything is so fresh and good! They do have beer and glasses of sake, but my favorite is their iced green tea. This is a lunch time go-to for me!
This is a TRUE Japanese restaurant! Owners are real Japanese great people and delicious food! First time here and loved it, will be back 100%
What can I say... This place has great food, its fast and the food comes out just as fast as you order it!!! I'm sold, sign me up, whenever I'm in the area I make it a habit to stop in and enjoy great Chinese food.
First time here, but will be back. Food was spot on and service was amazing. Little hole in the wall type place, which are typically the best! So happy I tried this place out.
Always so fresh, so clean, and the staff is always so nice. We have been coming here for years, and have never been disappointed.
What an amazing dining experience. The flounder was so fresh and prepared with a Masters touch. We will definitely be back. The staff is amazing and our server Shai was so knowledgeable and friendly! This restaurant was the highlight of our dining experience this year!
This has been my go to sushi place for over 15 years for lunch and dinner. The last few visits have been tougher with the pandemic and I made sure to support them especially over the last year. I've noticed as recently as last night that the quality and portions have not been as plentiful as in the past. Orders are not prepared properly (nobody can make a dynamite roll as well as Mikey, or remember to heat the fish) and the salmon nigiri that I order last night had six tiny pieces of salmon. What a disappointment. The service has always been excellent so no issues there. Little consistency in the meals as it seems they are turning sushi chefs regularly and it's a new face after a couple visits. Back to Rise Sushi as that's my "new" regular sushi spot moving forward. The new ownership has a long way to go to get back to where they were.
