Distinctly average! Whilst in the area we fancied an Indian takeaway for a change. It was a toss up based on reviews between here and another, wishing we’d gone for the other. The prawn purée starter was tiny and lacked flavour, about half the size of my local curry house’s version and a lot less flavour. The currys were full of ghee lakes, very oily! My Jalfrezi was very little near and at least 1 whole bell pepper, should have called it a bell pepper jalfrezi on the menu, was also the runniest jalfrezi I’ve ever eaten. They say cash only currently due to COVID, guess this is to avoid paying card charges per transaction. Certainly won’t be returning in a hurry on my next visit to the area.

Delightful ambiance, struggling to get in. Thankfully found our table (due to the clear table numbering system). Ordered food in under an hour. Poppadoms just greasy enough. Food cooked. Paid swiftly in cash via local cash point. Covid safe, loose mint imperials topped it off a treat. If only the other reviews were as honest as this.
First time here and although I think they were a little short staffed, it made a pleasant change to enjoy the meal over an hour or so, rather have all the courses arriving almost at once. I had a meal off the Chefs special and I can honestly say, it's the best meal of this type I have ever had. Unfortunately the chef told me it's his creation and I won't get it on any other menu! I had a king prawn special and elected to have it mild and was able to taste every herb and spice.
Great food, be patient with the service the main man is significantly better than the kids that greet you. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food! We will go again!
Beautiful authentic flavours and lovely staff! Really good prices that surprised us for such quality food.
