I’ll start with the good review, as it is deserved. The quality of the food was excellent. Can’t fault it. Truly delicious and we will (as we have done) order again. The only reason I’ve marked the stars down is because the restaurant failed to give us a true expectation of delivery leadtime time and time again. I fully appreciate that we have probably ordered at the busiest time of the year, however we ordered online at 6pm with a promise of delivery within 1 hour. Two hours later I called to check the status and was told delivery would be within 20 minutes. I called again at 9pm and was told delivery would be within 10-20minues again. By 10pm with no sign of delivery, I called again. I’m sorry I had to chase you but if only you had given us a realistic expectation after my first call, it perhaps wouldn’t have felt so awkward. I appreciate the free bottle of wine with our order - that was a kind gesture. I hope you can learn from this experience and we look forward to our next takeaway. Hopefully a lot quicker than 4 hours next time!
Excellent quality of food and menu, service is always great with friendly welcoming staff. The restaurant has been extended and décor is clean and modern. I will always return to masala city over other Indians it's the best around. But there are two very close together so make sure you walk into the correct restaurant I recommend booking in advance but they offer walk ins. Parking around the back.
Booked through Google for Thursday night, was the highest rated one in Chichester. The curry we had was delicious! The atmosphere was brilliant. The staff incredibly accommodating. If I'm in the area again, in the near future will return.
This is a lovely small Indian restaurant. The staff cannot be more accomodating and were very helpful when choosing things from the menu. The food was amazing and the attentive staff meant that you were not wanting for anything! Wednesdays is 5 course banquet night for 15. So much food!
