Mary Janes is the real No1 fish bar In Cromer! (Please never think about only serving tail cod or Skinless cod!) I love their fish and chips and love the ‘chunky’ middle cod! The flavour that comes from the skin is second to none! Well worth the trip every Friday evening throughout the summer!

Enjoyed our freshly cooked fish and chips. Service was quick and efficient in these Covid times. Masked worn by all staff. Social distancing in place.

The bones were a surprise but I'm not that fussed to take them out. Batter has a unique flavour, quite sweet and buttery, but it worked well with the cod. Fish was cooked to perfection, chips too and the service was quick and very friendly and didn't have to wait too long given C19. It is good!!! Update: a few days after eating here I had another fish and chips in a different part of the country which really made me appreciate just how good Mary Jane's was!!!

Had to queue outside for about 20 minutes, then ordered through a window, you then have to stand back and wait for order to be ready, then pay at another window. All the staff wearing face masks very efficient and great service. Haddock and chips with mushy peas. Beautiful
