Every interaction I have ever had with the Martinsburg PD has been a positive experience. Yes, even getting pulled over when I was in the wrong was a polite and respectful situation. They have always responded in a timely and professional manner that is surprising, considering the people they have to deal with daily. Not everyone says they have positive experiences, but all of mine have been good. Tired of only bad press, these officers deserve our respect and recognition for the positive things that they do in their jobs.

Hi I wanted to let you know that Martinsburg police do not care about special Ed children being beaten right down the street from their station by people that are supposed to protect them. CNN put Berkeley heights on blast they beat your kids there. The prosecutor and the police know about it and nothing has or will be done. That's civil servants at their best. They won't even protect those that CANT protect themselves. Pathetic, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Collecting that tax money for doing no work get a real job if your not going to be good police.

Very friendly, hard-working officers who are cleaning up downtown as best as they can. Not everyone can sympathize with the police, but when you see the type of people and situations they have to deal with in this town you'd understand a little better.
