A basic, old school menu, but beautifully cooked and all served with veg and chunky chips. Nice starters and deserts, washed down with reasonably priced wines and beers. Yes, it's very small and like eating at your aunties house, but the food and portions are good and Martin actually cares whether you've enjoyed your meal, so we are never disappointed. :-)

Amazing little place, friendly atmosphere and fabulous steak. Dufftown fillet steak and Lemon mousse, you have to try it!
I've always loved Martins Place. It's such a small intimate resturant with phenomenal food for such a low price. He's recently started doing burgers to takeaway which we had tonight and they are AMAZING! You can choose a bun and cheese, I had brie and my spouse had cheddar. The chips in the picture are one portion. As if it couldn't get any better you gey crispy onion flakes in the burger and can get Martinesque sauce on the side - two of my favourite things!!
Amazing value for money, thebest resturant. Amazing and delicious steaks, a lovely atmosphere. So reasonably priced. Plus over lockdown Martin has been doing amazing burgers, great value for money as always. Our favourite resturant!
