In Melrose for the day, we picked up some bits from this butcher. Steak pie: meat as soft as can be and really tasty with lovely pastry. Sausages: pork & leek and spicy chilli ones, both delicious (we cooked them in the oven; no fat came out at all). Quality!

I stayed at the Melrose campsite for 4 days Came across... Martin Baird butchers... I never eat sausage rolls... but Martin's sausage rolls look so nice... we had to have one and guess what?... they were the best sausage rolls we have ever tasted thanks Martin (also great customer service)
The pork pies looked good from outside and didn't disappoint when scoffed. Lovely pastry and tasty filling!
