In August of 2006, Dr Everson saved my husband's life. My husband was rushed to the hospital and found to have an ascending aortic dissection and rushed into surgery. Most people die with this condition. The reason I don't rate Dr Everson higher is because even though he saved my husband's life, after all he did to save him, he later was willing to let my husband die because we had just lost our health insurance before this incident occurred. He has a horrible bedside manner! Before my husband was capable of leaving the hospital, he needed rehabilitation to have a chance to survive, but because we had no insurance Dr Everson tried to kick him out of the hospital! He couldn't even sit up by himself, but Dr Everson said we needed to GO! I challenged him on this and so this doctor spread false rumors throughout the hospital that we were planning to sue him. Luckily I spoke to someone who allowed us to stay, and because my husband received the therapy he needed he is alive to this day.
