Brilliant Food! Oh my goodness, so glad we decided to ditch our usual Sainsbury’s and try the food here. Everything is way, way better quality. Love that I was able to pick up some decent cosmetics too. I don’t have enough space to rave on about how and why the food is so much better. I could just sum it up as being the freshness, the quality, the huge choice and high standards of their entire range. I spend no more in here than I spent in both Waitrose and Sainsburys. I so appreciate that Marks has survived where other department stores have gone bust. Keep up the excellent quality M&S and you should have no problems keeping afloat. Staff in the food hall are lovely and friendly and so helpful too.

Shame the food hall can’t be open separate from the rest of the store. Some people need to shop for groceries after 6pm because they work. Google states you are open until 7. Couldn’t see any signs to say you were closed so naturally tried the door to be rudely shouted at “we’re closed”. Sorry staff member but I’m not psychic. If you are going to close early at least display it somewhere on the entrance door. I prefer m & s quality products, however due to your current opening hours I can no longer shop here. Thanks very much for thinking of those of us who are still out there working.
What can you say about M&S these days. The store's are split into two. The food is excellent but, sorry to say the clothing department needs a complete overhaul. The clothes are not like they used to be. ie; I have a mans nicely made thick wool with pockets cardigan, which I have had possibly for 30 years and is still wearable and fashionable. You don't get that these days anymore in M&S. Come on bring back the old ways of M&S and be more respected
Only 0 star toay took a jumper back to store with a fault i have never done this before the manager of sutton who gave her name as rachel insisted i had caught it eventually conceded as she was not able to send it for testing and agreed to give me acredit note after looking at me down her nose and the 2 staff were not social distancing and not wearing masks what a shame all food hall staffhrough covid deserves 5 stars have been a life saver but now will think twice
