Love a trip to M&S
Tried to return an item purchased at a different, but nearby, M&S store (Hedge End). Staff (including the manager at Whiteley) were unhelpful and downright rude. I was left to feel that the staff felt their jobs would be fine if it was for all those annoying customers. WARNING It appears that it is no longer possible to return any item to any M&S store, not matter where purchased and the o quibble\ guarantee that was the hallmark of M&S has been shelved. I am surprised and disappointed that this USP has been so casually ditched with no warning to customers. M&S obviously think this is the way ahead, but I beg to differ. . Another store putting profits above customers. Looks like M&S will be another UK favourite going to the wall with attitudes amongst their staff like this. Will not shop here again.
Very good social distancing controls in place. Cafe was well laid out. Very safe and secure.
First time shopping here since March. The store is now very well laid out for shopping.Apparently the coffee shop opens tomorrow. Did lots of clothing and food shopping. The only thing that spoilt our visit today was a rather miserable grey haired man on the checkout in the food hall. He made no eye contact with us and even my husband commented on his attitude as we left the store.
