I had a very nice toastie and cappuccino. I scanned a QR code to enter my details for Corona virus tracing, and my food was delivered to my table. Staff were friendly and the prices were good.

We shop there on Wednesdays for some food and find the staff very friendly a nd helpfully, the pope at entering was good with a notice not to form groups which blocks the aisles. You have to go down an alley to que to get in to the food department. But after buying food we had to go up the stairs to buy a white shirt. And I was amazed that the moving Staircase was cut off as it would be better covid practice to use the stairway down and the mechanical stair up for separation. As you are now advised to go down the alley to food dept the stairs could be used for going up only staff excluded as the parking is not very good at marks and Spencer's for shopping and only allows limited pick up if your lucky. There is an underground car park down the street but as you know not many locals will use it for shopping. Also the entrance from the high street seems only yo be in out on the sliding door where's one should be the entrance the other the exit. Men's clothes do seem a bit dated okay for over 50 people but not enticing to the young. Clothes do seem good quality and returns no problem and they are selling on the internet which is good for them as shops are being lifelines by Amazon and many more. My score 7/10

While in the cafe this afternoon with my daughter 4 year old and 3 month old Grandaughters we were sitting on the bench which had a table socially distanced. An elederly couple didn't join the queue but went directly to sit at a table. A staff member moved them and directed them to sit beside us. This was definitely less than 2 metres from us. We didn't want to make a fuss and embarrass the couple so we had to leave. M&S this was distressing for us and spoiled our lunch. Overall very dissatisfied
