Pancake day so decided to pick up some goodies. Parked at the rear it explains that you have to pay 1 and you get it back when you pay. Anyway paid but to be fair to M and S my wife didn't mention it at that stage. So went back to the car said I will sort it so went back but didn't have the receipt so had to go and get the receipt. Got that and then went back in waiting for a lady she did the processing and explained we needed my wife's card. But my wife didn't actually pay with a card it was cash. What a palava we still don't have the 1 back and have given up. So in the store 3 times and still didn't get the 1 back.

10 am on a quiet day (Fri) absolutely awful for Covid safety.Narrow aisles and people stood in the middle so you can't socially distance when trying to walk around.They don't seem to restrict the numbers going into this small food store.As we are in lockdown most grocery shops in the area are now offering a traffic light system,M and S are not.One aisle where food is has people walking down it to exit the store.Obviously put profit before safety and given the numbers of elderly in the area they should limit people entering.I myself wont be going again for some time.I went before Christmas and even worse.
Clean and sanitised trolleys. Someone on the door monitoring amount of shoppers. Pleasant experience. Well stocked too.
The queues to get in this shop are absolutely ridiculous, there's only like 5 people in the shop, will give it a miss, no queue to get in Lidl
