I called to find out whether my wife is eligible for the ESL classes, offered in this center. The front desk lady was extremely nice and helpful. She listened to our situation and explained everything very thoroughly. Then for further information, she transferred me over to ESL admin. ESL admin lady, who had a thick Chinese accent was very rude and unpleasant. She cut me off while I was explaining my situation, and proceeded to assume and say what she wanted to say. I started to explain our situation again but she cut me off AGAIN. This lady kept cutting me off as if she didn't need to hear what I had to say. I gave up after a few times and didn't want to speak with her any more, so I just said yes and thank you. After she was done, I went on to say \Thank you for the information\ but she hung up before I even finished the sentence, without even saying bye, let alone a \Have a nice day\. Where are the manners? The place is called \Welcome Center\, but her attitude was nothing remotely close to welcoming. I sincerely believe that someone else more welcoming and polite personality should be in her position. I believe that she shouldn't be the personality to represent polite and encompassing \Canadians\ to new comers.

Most staff and teacher are very friendly. The location just south of HWY 7 and on woodbine. If take a bus along HWY 7 can get off at woodbine and walking around 5mins very convenience. There has a large parking lot and no charge. Besides learning ESL there should not have to pay.

Today I went there and after consulting my wife and I be very stressful because the consulter told us don’t be happy and she told that after you pass a winter you be upset like us. And all people who work there be very upset and nobody hadn't smile on their face or welcoming . I don’t know why the name of that is “welcome center” ....

Staff is very helpful and kind especially Mojgan, Bess and Megan ... they always try their best to help newcomers ... This is where my professional journey started and I have no regrets ... they helped me to set a foundation when I felt lost and alone in a different Country ... Many thanks ... I would recommend them a hundred times and more!!!!
