Ordered a tv stand online. Was suppose to get it delivered. Never got a phone call, email, text, or even a buzz. We had to pick it up from Canpar. What's the point of ordering to our door step if we need to go pick it up from Canpar. On top of that half the legs on the tv stand were all scruffed up.
When I need to buy something I always think about this Walmart. Today i came to pickup pictutes, boight snacks, bananas & flowers. This one is located inside the Markville Mall. I prefer this one then the supercenter. it is decent size and has almost things I needed. I don't know about the customer service as I usually can find things on my own. the prices of pretty good. I also like to get my pictures developed from Walmart. Just upload the pictures, i can get it on the same day or the next. Very convenient. I also like the self-serve cashier.
Everything you need in one store. Great deals on brand name and private label products. A busy location and long hours to shop. Free parking and access to Markville Mall.
Found everything I needed. Clean and fast checkout. Wiped gourny before next customer.
I had a horrible experience with the walmart team member who was standing at the entrance. When I asked her about the way to the cosmetics aisle she looked me from top to bottom and said if I was sure I wanted to go to cosmetics and even mocked me by saying if I am here to buy a lipstick? She even laughed at the end when I was leaving. Aren’t customers here allowed to shop whatever they want in peace irrespective of their gender? The employee seemed to be somewhere from age 40-60 yrs old and possibly south asian. Like does walmart have clue about how some of its employees are? I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but this is something disturbing from a customer pov and made me super uncomfortable.
So I mean I like Walmart, no matter how, I just wanna buy our grocery from here, I mean, Walmart. And this Walmart has a very interesting situation. When you come in this Walmart from its main door, maybe you just think OK I'm coming in from the ground floor. But when you come from the backward of this mall, and downstair by escalator, go directly to Walmart, maybe you'll think you just at the basement floor. And after you check out at the main door register, you can not pick your things turn back in Walmart, you have to pick up your groceries pass around half more of this big mall, you would think 'oh my, what's going on here? I from ground floor, downstair, and get another ground floor?' After thinking in my brain(oh yes I have that), I know it's a very genius design of this architecture, convinience for people. Just a little confuse for the new comer, I mean, me. I'm not complain, actually, I love this. And after the first time, I can get the right way now, haha.
Product had multiple tags, employee blew me off I wanted to buy two toys for my infant son. One had no price tag, the other had two stickers one saying 10 the other 12. I tried scanning the products through the app - out of stock. I went to try it at the self checkout - the register said ask for an associate. First associate came - couldn't scan them. Either a manager or a seasoned employee came, couldn't scan the first toy, said the second is 10 - though it wouldn't scan. I tried telling her I can t buy something that doesn't scan - she said she s on your lunch and left. Literally left me there with my crying baby and a ton of groceries. "Happy to help my foot"
