Ms. Lim is such a wonderful teacher. She is very enthusiastic about her piano teaching. Very ambitious and talented. She has been especially great during this unprecedented situation by accommodating efficiently to the new virtual learning environment. It was a big challenge for us but she was very patient, understanding and always ready to help. She's a creative person and always comes with great ideas that makes learning piano a lot of fun for my daughter.

My daughter joined the studio when she was 5 years old. Flora has been teaching her piano for about 5 years now and her enthusiasm has not faded, even during our early Sunday morning classes. When we were faced with the pandemic, our lessons transitioned to a virtual platform seemlessly. Flora still keeps challenging her to grow and expand her skills through our weekly online lessons. She is not only taught how to play the correct notes but to enjoy the story told through the music she creates. Flora uses various teaching methods to keep her students engaged while fostering their love for music. We are so fortunate to have you as our teacher Ms. Lim and we can't wait to get back into the studio. Thank you!
Excellent studio with probably the best music learning journey a child can go through! The music and course director, Ms. Lim, is very passionate and methodical not only towards teaching music but also helping parents to establish the right mindset and gear up with the right tools to support their kid’s learning. The Play a Story piano course is just fantastic. It introduces the language of music and piano to kids in a fun and unintimidating way. It is not a course to teach a kid to play a popular tune in the next recital. It is a course to cultivate a kid with lifelong enjoyment of music.
Ms Lim is such a remarkable person. Our kids love her. They enjoy her Kindermusik and Play a Story classes and have since switched to virtual classes which has been a seamless transition. Her energy and dedication to her classes make kids eager to learn and enjoy. We wholly recommend Ms Lim to anyone wishing for their child to embark on a musical journey and thrive. Her methods of getting kids to enjoy music while learning at the same time are phenomenal. We are constantly amazed by her techniques to build a firm foundation and inspire a love of music for life. We all thoroughly enjoyed the first virtual Spring concert. It was so amazing to see all the wonderful performances. Our son (4) was able to sit still through the entire performance which is a miracle in itself. Our daughter (6) is currently enrolled in one of her virtual Summer camps and woke up at 5 to attend a 9:30 class. Our only regret is that we did not start our kids sooner!
Flora has been enriching my kids with music for more than five years now. We first started in Kindermusik where my kids experienced the joy of music through singing, instruments, story and dance. It was a great bonding experience between parent and child. Flora encourages creativity throughout the entire time and further supplements with digital at home materials. My older child has “graduated” from Kindermusik and joined the group piano classes. At first, I was concerned that she would be missing 1:1 attention but Flora doesn’t miss a beat in giving each child the attention they need and the kids get to learn from each other (ie learn from each other’s mistakes and successes). She makes learning piano fun and my child looks forward to practicing her new pieces and songs as Play a Story really encourages each student to make the song their own but still practicing a rhythm. With the pivot to virtual, Flora has transitioned quickly and has continued to give the kids a sense of community with movie nights and cookie baking ... all virtually. She also continued to enrich the students’ lives with not only music but life lessons on growth mindset and positive thinking through engaging videos and guidance on discussion questions. It’s been truly an amazing experience!
