Gupta Group cancelled the Icona Condos project in Vaughan and now they are apparently going to be building on that same land! (They own the land). They used hundreds of people's deposits to gain interest over 2 years and then just abruptly cancelled the Icona Condos project \due to financial difficulties\. WHAT A SCAM. Apparently, they are also going to take on a new project at Dufferin and 401 (Holiday Inn will be demolished). Buyer BEWARE. I am a real estate agent and I would NEVER let my clients deal with these scammers. Any 5 star reviews on them are also either family members or fake accounts.

This builder is dishonest and deceitful. He promised to give me 2000 compensation for the promised 3 bedroom that turned out to be a two bedroom . His office sent me the amendment document for 1000 and I signed it by mistake. When I realized the mistake I sent his office and his lawyer the email trail showing that I had been promised 2000 and only received 1000. They basically said too bad!! Very disappointed ️ Also the built quality is not great. Air Condition keeps breaking down!! Also closing costs had extra administration fees. Definitely do not recommend this builder to anyone.
Buyer beware. These guys are scammers, screwed me over on my condo purchase in Vaughan. They own the land, knew they had a lien and still sold on it.
Very unprofessional builder. I would recommend not to buy any house or condo or invest in any of his projects. No timely delivery of projects, very poor quality.
Don't purchase anything from this builder. Dishonest and deceitful.
