Great selection of pastries, cakes and savoury baked goods. I have tried some of the savoury buns such as the cheese hot dog bun, the bbq pork and curry beef flaky pastry. Also the cakes and other sweets are truly wonderful. They use real butter so the majority of their baked goods have a very rich and full flavour vs. vegetable shortening...like I always say, this is just my truthful opinion...but to really understand how tasty their goods are you have go and give it a try!

We to Markville today and got two small pieces of the green tea red bean cake. I came home and opened the box it was all hard and even the colour have changed. I would give it a zero star, they shouldn’t be selling it when it has been there for that long very disappointed.

I love the cakes at this bakery. The chestnut cake is one of the best I've very had. Not too sweet and is loaded with chestnuts paste. 30 for a 6" cake (its actually bigger) The huge loaf bread is really good nice and soft. Pricing is definitely higher than the average bakeries but so far everything I've had was amazing.

Some items taste great. Some items are definitely not worth what they are charging (ie. Sea salt butter roll-unless you like the taste of nothing for 1.80) 18.65 for 2 butter cream buns, 1 sea salt roll and a mooncake. The mooncake is about 3” in diameter and was 11 plus tax. I’m not familiar with how much moon cakes normally go for. My son picked it as his choice. I just assumed it was similarly priced to everything else in the serve yourself area. I also didn’t notice when I tapped. It’s Just too easy nowadays to be oblivious when tapping by cc. Shocked when I got home and actually looked at my receipt. The cake was ok. But definitely not worth 12.43. I made a suggestion to the store that maybe for such items and just for good cx Svc, that the cashier take an extra step and verify that the cx is aware of the price when purchasing. The employee who answered the phone didn’t seem to like my suggestion.

The quality of their cakes used to be so good. The cake itself was buttery soft and moist. But the last 2 times I've ordered their cakes, the sponge cake layers were over baked and so dry that even the whipping cream couldn't hold the layers together. This time not only was the mixed fruit cake overly dry, there wasn't even enough whipping cream on the cake to hold the layers together when you cut it into slices and the bottom layer of the cake was all cantaloupe. I will no longer be purchasing cakes from them as their quality and expectations have gone from a 10 to -20.
